At The SOK KIS KÉZ Public Benefit Assiciation which has been working since 2018 to support and assist children and adults living with disabilities, mobility impairments, or chronic illnesses.
In addition to direct support, the association organizes sports events, charity runs, family days, children’s camps, and other recreational activities to promote meaningful leisure time. Its mission also includes health education and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
The name “Sok KIS Kéz” (Many Little Hands) reflects our belief in community-driven action and joint efforts to achieve our goals.

At the KISS Group we place particular emphasis on developing the next generation of skilled professionals, as our future largely depends on it. To support this goal, ÉMK Kft. assists primary, secondary, and higher education institutions in various ways. In primary schools, we regularly organise competitions that assess students’ knowledge of the activities carried out by the companies within the Group, as well as the environmental issues related to those activities. Through these programmes, we reward the children’s dedication with valuable gifts and, just as importantly, with the opportunity to experience a sense of achievement.
Vocational and Secondary Education
To ensure a reliable pipeline of future skilled professionals, we have established relationships with several secondary schools. In line with the professional profile of each institution, we provide students with opportunities for site visits, presentations, and professional consultations.
One of our key events is the annual career orientation day held at the University of Miskolc, organised in cooperation with the university and three major chemical industry companies in the region.
At the event, students can learn in an engaging and interactive way about the professions employed by the chemical industry, the various levels of education connected to these fields, and the requirements associated with them.
Goal: To spark interest in professions practiced within the KISS Group and promote long-term career engagement.
Higher Education Cooperation
In May 2018, the Department of Fine Chemical Industry and Environmental Technology, jointly established by the University of Miskolc and the KISS Group, marked a turning point in the Group’s relationship with higher education institutions.
The companies within the Group are pleased to employ young engineers and economists, regardless of which university in the country they graduated from. In recruitment, the key criteria are primarily the knowledge acquired and the personal qualities that accompany it.
At the same time, we consider it important to strengthen our relationship with one of the region’s leading higher education institutions, both in the fields of education and research. This cooperation enables our professionals to become involved in the development of educational programmes and in teaching activities.
Our professionals contribute to curriculum development and participate in classroom instruction.
Through dual training programs, our experts mentor university students from Miskolc and other institutions. We support their academic journey by offering thesis topics, supervision, and summer internships.
The Group also provides opportunities for participation in postgraduate training. As a result, in 2023, an ÉMK employee who had completed doctoral studies at the university successfully defended their doctoral dissertation. This achievement has opened the way for what we hope will become a growing series Members of KISS GROUP employees obtaining scientific degrees in the future. Its significance lies in the fact that the relationship between industry and the university is becoming closer not only in education, but also in the fields of scientific research and development.
